Change Your Mindset, Change Your Life

Your life is whatever you make of it. The things that you spend your time doing, how you talk to yourself, everything you do in your life will reflect the kind of life that you're living. If you spend your time doing meaningless actions, or saying depressing things to yourself, then you're going to find yourself in a very sad, depressing life very quickly.

Life won't get better until you do. You won't have the life that you want if you keep doing the same thing over and over. Like I talked about in a previous post, if you want your life to change, you need to make a change. Living a great life isn't going to happen if you're stressed and depressed all of the time. You need to learn to pull yourself out of the rut that you're in, and start seeing the positive in your life! If you're feeling down right now, I challenge you to look around and find at least one positive thing in your life. Even if you're in a good place at the moment, you can always take some time to find something wonderful in your life.

Try and look for something positive today. Some days, it can be harder to find something good than others, so if today is one of those hard days, challenge yourself to look a little harder. The sun still rose and you still woke up; that's something to be happy about!

Your life isn't going to get better if you sit there and do nothing about it. Take action! Look for the positive, save your money, spend time with other positive people, go outside, and have fun! Sitting inside merely thinking about how you can make your life better won't change anything. You have to get up, get out there, and make it happen! A wonderful life doesn't happen through mediocre actions, so make wonderful actions instead!

Don't Allow Your Fears To Control Your Life

Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. If your fears are starting to hold you back from living the life that you want, then you need to rethink how you view those fears and learn to break past them in order to move on. Your limitations are only limitations because you allow them to be. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, so don’t allow yourself to be brought down by your fears just because you’re worried that you won’t be able to overcome them. Happy Friday! Y'all know what time it is! It's that time of the week where we list the things that we look forward to; it's Fire It Up Friday! There is so much in life to look forward to, so let's help each other out by naming the things that we're excited for. I'll start us off by saying that I'm excited to go to the beach tomorrow. Beach time is always a good time. I'm gonna have ice cream for lunch and hopefully hit plenty of waves! Life gives us so much to hope for; it's hard to see the bad when you're so focused on all of the good things headed your way.
