Choose to Experience Your Life

Sunrises, sunsets, family, friends, bonfires, full moons, stars, cloud formations, flowers, nature, bees, sunlight, moonlight, moss, music, trees, mountains, the ocean—all of these things are free to experience. These things could be a starter kit for gratitude if you're struggling to find something to be thankful for. There are so many good things in life to experience for free, and all of the best things are free of course!

We should all take some time to be with nature to just experience the world that we're given while we have it. Forget technology, forget TV, forget sports, forget work; take time to simply exist surrounded by nature, maybe invite some friends or family and take a camping trip, or go to the beach and hit some waves! Experience life! Get out there and get surrounded by the wonders of nature!

Life is meant to be experienced, so don't let it pass you by. There are plenty of things out there for you to do. You don't have to live under a rock, avoiding the world your whole life—you can choose to get up, get out, and enjoy the nature that we're given at any moment.

We are given this life to enjoy it, not to sit in a cube all day and look at screens. The goal of your life should be to have a good time, all of the time. The best things in life are free, and they are all around us, waiting for us to experience them. So what are you waiting for? Get out there!

Let Go of the Past and Embrace Change

Leave the past in the past! You won’t progress in life if you’re dragging old habits around with you. If you keep trying the same thing over and over again, and you’re not getting the results that you want, maybe it’s time to try something new. T hink of it like diet and exercise. Some diets won't work for you, just like some exercises work better for other people than they will for you. It’s all about figuring out what works, rather than doing the same old thing and becoming disappointed every time you don’t get results. In order to move forward in your life, you need to learn to embrace change. Sometimes, you can get so caught up in sticking with the things that you know, that you wind up afraid of venturing out of your comfort zone. It’s easy to stay with what’s familiar, but you have to learn to let go of familiarity and let yourself embrace the new and the unknown. You need to allow yourself to be open to new ideas and new ways of thinking. You're stuck where you are righ...

Don't Allow Your Fears To Control Your Life

Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. If your fears are starting to hold you back from living the life that you want, then you need to rethink how you view those fears and learn to break past them in order to move on. Your limitations are only limitations because you allow them to be. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, so don’t allow yourself to be brought down by your fears just because you’re worried that you won’t be able to overcome them. You can do anything that you put your mind to, and if that involves overcoming your fears, then you will be able to do just that! When you choose to avoid your fears and not face them, you open yourself up to even more fear, as well as limitations on your abilities. Facing your fears allows you to break free of the restrict...

Fire It Up Friday

Happy Friday! Y'all know what time it is! It's that time of the week where we list the things that we look forward to; it's Fire It Up Friday! There is so much in life to look forward to, so let's help each other out by naming the things that we're excited for. I'll start us off by saying that I'm excited to go to the beach tomorrow. Beach time is always a good time. I'm gonna have ice cream for lunch and hopefully hit plenty of waves! Life gives us so much to hope for; it's hard to see the bad when you're so focused on all of the good things headed your way. There's always something to be excited for, even if it's not your next concert or your next beach day; it can be as simple as waking up tomorrow morning to spend a relaxing day at home or being excited for your next cup of coffee. If it makes you happy, it's worth being excited for. Let everyone know what you're looking forward to in the comments. Have a great weekend, everyo...
