Trust is something that is earned. We've all heard that said before, but what about trusting in yourself? Believing in yourself? What if you trusted yourself to achieve the goals that you set for yourself? The thing is, you shouldn't always rely on external validation; you must learn to be okay with trusting yourself. Trusting yourself is going to start and end with self-love. You need to learn to be yourself, and to be kind to yourself. Self-kindness and self-love are one-in-the-same. To be kind to yourself is to love yourself, and to love yourself is to be kind to yourself.
Patience with yourself is very important when it comes to developing self-trust. You have to learn to get rid of the negative thoughts that creep their way into your mind; learn to replace them with positive thoughts. Instead of thinking that something is difficult or that you can't get the hang of something, tell yourself that you're learning and that you will find a way to overcome the situation.
When you don't trust yourself, it can be hard to spend time with yourself. You might feel uncomfortable with looking inward at yourself and your way of thinking. You need to learn to be okay with being with yourself. Pay attention to any criticism you have towards yourself, meditate on it, and then let it go. You don't need to dwell on it; you can let it go as easy as it comes to you. Dwelling on the negatives won't get you anywhere, and it won't get you to trust yourself any quicker.
Trust in yourself and your abilities builds confidence and helps make decisions much easier. All you need to trust yourself is a little bit of patience and self-love. Getting anywhere in life is going to be hard if you don't trust the decisions that you're making, so you need to learn to trust your decision-making, even if you end up making the wrong choice. Wrong choices only teach you lessons for the next time you encounter a similar situation. Don't beat yourself up too much; trust in yourself and you can accomplish anything.

Your writings are most excellent and truly note worthy for all readers.
