Your Thoughts Can Change Your Life, but Only if Your Actions Back Them Up

While it is true that your thoughts have the power to change your life, sometimes you need to take action in order to back up the thoughts in your head. Actions speak louder than words, after all! You need to make sure that your actions reflect your mindset, because you could cause serious damage if they don't. If you say that you’re patient, but then turn around and berate the waitress for bringing you the wrong thing on a really busy night, are you truly patient, or do you just think that you’re patient?

You can think a lot of things about yourself, but if your actions aren’t reflecting those statements, were they ever true to begin with? You need to evaluate the things that you say to and about yourself and look at the actions that you take to prove those statements true. You need to learn to practice what you preach, essentially.

If all you do is think about improving yourself, you will never reach your goals in life; you have to put in the effort to improve yourself as well! Your thoughts must be reflected in your actions. Life is what you make of it, so make sure that you’re making the most of it and taking kind, positive actions in the world.

People will believe the actions of others, not necessarily their words, so you need to make sure that your life reflects the words that you think or speak. Saying one thing but doing another will only make people perceive you as a hypocrite. You need to be true to your word and turn your life into what you think of it.

Mindset is everything, but only if you have the actions to back that mindset up. You won’t get around to changing your life if you only sit around and think about changing your life; take action, make the necessary changes, and do the things that you don’t want to do! Make your life into something incredible!

Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. If your fears are starting to hold you back from living the life that you want, then you need to rethink how you view those fears and learn to break past them in order to move on. Your limitations are only limitations because you allow them to be. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, so don’t allow yourself to be brought down by your fears just because you’re worried that you won’t be able to overcome them. Happy Friday! Y'all know what time it is! It's that time of the week where we list the things that we look forward to; it's Fire It Up Friday! There is so much in life to look forward to, so let's help each other out by naming the things that we're excited for. I'll start us off by saying that I'm excited to go to the beach tomorrow. Beach time is always a good time. I'm gonna have ice cream for lunch and hopefully hit plenty of waves!
