Your goals are not unattainable; you’re just not working hard enough! This is a reminder to get back on track if you feel like you have been slacking off or that you are struggling right now. Remember why you committed to making a change in your life; don’t let yourself hold you back from accomplishing your goals.
Everybody, including me, needs a little encouragement or a reminder now and then! It can be easy to fall off the wagon, to lose an ongoing workout streak, or to not remember to drink enough water, so a little reminder can go a long way. You need to remember why you started. Don’t get discouraged if you end up slacking off for a day or two; there is still plenty of time to catch up and reach your goals.
Try not to lose sight of the reason you began this journey in the first place. You are able to achieve anything you set your mind to, even the hard things! Just because you had a rough day does not mean you have to give up. There are plenty of chances for you to restart and give it another go! One bad day doesn’t erase all of the progress that you’ve made so far.
Remember that you can always start again, no matter how many times it takes for you to reach your goals; there are always going to be more opportunities out there for you to grow and to achieve the things that you want. Stay determined, but don’t beat yourself up over one bad day, a missed day, or a purchase that you didn’t need.
Progress is still progress, and you’re going to have bad days and you’re going to slip up, but what matters is that you don’t lose sight of your end goal and that you remember why you’re making the changes that you are. Stay focused on your end goal, stay determined and patient, and forgive yourself when you slip up. Just make sure that you commit to doing better the next time, and you’ll be golden!
