Lay Bricks Every Hour Until You Build Your Rome

Making progress toward your goals isn’t something that’s going to happen overnight; you won’t get the fruits of your labor if you only just planted the seeds! Before you can begin to see the results, you must exercise patience and give room for growth and change. Progress takes time to bloom, and that’s something that you always need to remind yourself of.

When you are not seeing results, it can be easy to give up; this is why most people quit! Because the growth is not happening quickly enough, people give up and assume that what they’re doing isn’t working for them, but in actuality, they probably would have noticed changes if they had persisted a little longer.

All that matters is that you are making some effort toward your goal, no matter how little the progress may be! Even if it’s not as much progress as you would like to be making, any progress towards your goal is good; all you have to do is remember to be patient.

We’ve all heard the saying that Rome wasn’t built in a day, but did you know that there is a second part to that phrase? “Rome wasn’t built in a day, but they were laying bricks every hour,” is the full saying, which seems to emphasize a little more on the hard work put into achieving great things.

Great things aren’t accomplished overnight; it takes dedication and hard work every day in order to achieve your goals. Brick by brick, you’ll get there; you’ll build your way up to the top of your goals. Believe in yourself and take the time necessary to accomplish your objectives. Stay patient and watch your progress build!

Let Go of the Past and Embrace Change

Leave the past in the past! You won’t progress in life if you’re dragging old habits around with you. If you keep trying the same thing over and over again, and you’re not getting the results that you want, maybe it’s time to try something new. T hink of it like diet and exercise. Some diets won't work for you, just like some exercises work better for other people than they will for you. It’s all about figuring out what works, rather than doing the same old thing and becoming disappointed every time you don’t get results. In order to move forward in your life, you need to learn to embrace change. Sometimes, you can get so caught up in sticking with the things that you know, that you wind up afraid of venturing out of your comfort zone. It’s easy to stay with what’s familiar, but you have to learn to let go of familiarity and let yourself embrace the new and the unknown. You need to allow yourself to be open to new ideas and new ways of thinking. You're stuck where you are righ...

Don't Allow Your Fears To Control Your Life

Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. If your fears are starting to hold you back from living the life that you want, then you need to rethink how you view those fears and learn to break past them in order to move on. Your limitations are only limitations because you allow them to be. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, so don’t allow yourself to be brought down by your fears just because you’re worried that you won’t be able to overcome them. You can do anything that you put your mind to, and if that involves overcoming your fears, then you will be able to do just that! When you choose to avoid your fears and not face them, you open yourself up to even more fear, as well as limitations on your abilities. Facing your fears allows you to break free of the restrict...
