You Can Do Anything That You Put Your Mind To

You only have one limit in life, and that is you. You can do anything that you put your mind to; all it takes is determination and patience for you to achieve the things that you want. You won't be able to achieve your goals overnight, of course, which is where being patient comes in. Sometimes, it can take a long time before you even start to see the results of your actions. Don't let a lack of results discourage you from your goals and dreams, but instead let it motivate you to work harder and harder every day until you see the results that you're looking for.

Your mind will sometimes try to discourage you from accomplishing your goals. In my opinion, this is mostly due to social pressure caused by seeing other people succeed on social media, but I’m not a psychiatrist or anything like that. You might feel like you're not good enough, or that you’ll never be able to achieve success. You see all of these successful people on social media and think that you could never be like them. The truth is, they were exactly where you are at one point. They didn’t just achieve success overnight, and they definitely didn’t see the results right away either. They probably doubted themselves, just as you are right now! You need to remove that doubt from your mind; never tell yourself that something is too hard or that you’ll never be able to do something.

Don't limit yourself to only doing the things that you’re familiar with. Step outside of your comfort zone and give something new a try! Let go of the fear of failure, let go of the doubt, and let go of the negative thoughts. There is always hope and there is always the possibility that you can achieve the things that you want to achieve. Don't doubt yourself or your capabilities. Doubt won’t get you anywhere; hope, on the other hand, will always motivate you, will always push you forward into something better. Always remember that you are more than capable enough to accomplish the hard things in life, no matter what they are. 

It can be difficult to remove yourself from your thoughts, but sometimes that’s what you have to do if you want to have any chance at moving forward. You need to let go of negative thoughts, and get out of your own way in order to keep pushing on. Don’t let yourself stop yourself from achieving your goals. Release any thoughts about limitations that you might have about yourself, and get out there and make things happen! Stop making excuses for yourself, stop procrastinating, stop telling yourself that you’ll do it tomorrow. Think positive, and get out there and start now! You’ve got this!

Don't Allow Your Fears To Control Your Life

Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. Happy Friday! Y'all know what time it is! It's that time of the week where we list the things that we look forward to; it's Fire It Up Friday! There is so much in life to look forward to, so let's help each other out by naming the things that we're excited for. I'll start us off by saying that I'm excited to go to the beach tomorrow. Beach time is always a good time. I'm gonna have ice cream for lunch and hopefully hit plenty of waves!
