Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, everyone! I’m sure most of your homes are going to be filled with the smell of corned beef and cabbage today. I know mine will be, as is tradition. I made up a grasshopper pie yesterday, and it’s currently in the freezer, waiting to be unleashed later today. What are y’all’s plans for today? I’ll be out jeeping in Francis Marion National Forest with a group of amazing jeepers I’m proud to call my friends.

On another note, since today seems to revolve around luck and good fortune, I just want to take a moment to wish you all luck in anything that you do or that you’re going to do. You can accomplish anything that you put your mind to! If it doesn’t work out the first time around, you can always come back to it and try again, using the knowledge that you will have gained from your first try.

I hope you all have a wonderful St. Patty’s Day, that you eat a lot of good food today, and that you take the day to just rest and relax. If you’re working today, I hope that your job treats you kindly and that your day goes smoothly, and when you get home, you’re able to get some well-earned rest and relaxation.

In closing, I hope you all have a wonderful day! Remember to wear green, and maybe get outside and try to find a four-leaved clover—even though the clover is in no way related to Saint Patrick, but they’re still fun to find regardless—and just enjoy the day! Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. If your fears are starting to hold you back from living the life that you want, then you need to rethink how you view those fears and learn to break past them in order to move on. Your limitations are only limitations because you allow them to be. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, so don’t allow yourself to be brought down by your fears just because you’re worried that you won’t be able to overcome them. You can do anything that you put your mind to, and if that involves overcoming your fears, then you will be able to do just that! Happy Friday! Y'all know what time it is! It's that time of the week where we list the things that we look forward to; it's Fire It Up Friday! There is so much in life to look forward to, so let's help each other out by naming the things that we're excited for. I'll start us off by saying that I'm excited to go to the beach tomorrow. Beach time is always a good time. I'm gonna have ice cream for lunch and hopefully hit plenty of waves! Life gives us so much to hope for; it's hard to see the bad when you're so focused on all of the good things headed your way. There's always something to be excited for, even if it's not your next concert or your next beach day; it can be as simple as waking up tomorrow morning to spend a relaxing day at home or being excited for your next cup of coffee.
