Prove the Haters Wrong

We all have limitations to the things that we can do, but your limits aren’t always going to be the same as someone else’s. There are going to be things that you can do that someone else can’t, just like there’s going to be things that you struggle with that someone else can do perfectly. We are all capable of doing great things, but our individual skills are always going to be different from one another’s.

Problems only start to arise when someone tells you that you can’t or won’t be able to do something. They don’t know what your limits are; they only know their own. When someone tells you that you can’t do something, that is purely a reflection of them and has nothing to do with your own capabilities. You know what you can and cannot do; don’t take slander from someone that you wouldn’t take advice from.

Other people’s limitations should have no bearing on how you live your life or what you can accomplish. You shouldn’t let other people hold you back from achieving great things just because they don’t believe that they will ever be able to achieve them themselves. Sometimes, people will project their own limitations onto you just because they can’t stand to see you succeed, and that’s all the more reason that you should continue to aim for your goals.

While you will always have your own limits to things, you shouldn’t let other people dictate to you what those limits are. You know yourself better than anyone else, so don’t let anyone else tell you what you can or cannot do. You can accomplish whatever you put your mind to, regardless of what someone else has to say about it. Most of the time, people just need to mind their own business!

No one knows you like you do, so you know best what your limitations are and how you can overcome them. You shouldn’t let your own limitations stop you from accomplishing the things that you want, and you especially shouldn’t let other people’s opinions on your limitations stop you from achieving your goals. You do you! You don’t need to make other people proud; you just need to make yourself proud. Get out there and prove the haters wrong!

Let Go of the Past and Embrace Change

Leave the past in the past! You won’t progress in life if you’re dragging old habits around with you. If you keep trying the same thing over and over again, and you’re not getting the results that you want, maybe it’s time to try something new. T hink of it like diet and exercise. Some diets won't work for you, just like some exercises work better for other people than they will for you. It’s all about figuring out what works, rather than doing the same old thing and becoming disappointed every time you don’t get results. In order to move forward in your life, you need to learn to embrace change. Sometimes, you can get so caught up in sticking with the things that you know, that you wind up afraid of venturing out of your comfort zone. It’s easy to stay with what’s familiar, but you have to learn to let go of familiarity and let yourself embrace the new and the unknown. You need to allow yourself to be open to new ideas and new ways of thinking. You're stuck where you are righ...

Don't Allow Your Fears To Control Your Life

Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. If your fears are starting to hold you back from living the life that you want, then you need to rethink how you view those fears and learn to break past them in order to move on. Your limitations are only limitations because you allow them to be. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, so don’t allow yourself to be brought down by your fears just because you’re worried that you won’t be able to overcome them. You can do anything that you put your mind to, and if that involves overcoming your fears, then you will be able to do just that! When you choose to avoid your fears and not face them, you open yourself up to even more fear, as well as limitations on your abilities. Facing your fears allows you to break free of the restrict...

Happy Friday! Y'all know what time it is! It's that time of the week where we list the things that we look forward to; it's Fire It Up Friday! There is so much in life to look forward to, so let's help each other out by naming the things that we're excited for. I'll start us off by saying that I'm excited to go to the beach tomorrow.
