Negative People Have No Place in Your Life

Negative people will always try to incite a response from you, but the best response that you can give them is no response at all. Negative people want to get under your skin and make you respond in a negative way back to them. Smile and wave, is what I say! Especially when it comes to road rage. Never give in to negative people, and don’t give them the response that they want.

Your life will only become more negative the more time you spend around negative people or situations. You need to remove yourself from negative situations and distance yourself from negative people if you want to live a positive, happy life. Believe it or not, the people that you choose to associate with have a big impact on your overall wellbeing. Remember that you are the company you keep, so make sure that you’re keeping good company.

You can tell a lot about a person by the company that they keep, and if they’re keeping bad company, then you might want to rethink whether or not you want to associate yourself with them. The last thing that you want is to find yourself in a situation that could have been avoided if only you had stayed away from the people surrounding the situation. Whenever possible, make it a habit to avoid negative people.

Your life is yours alone to live, so don’t let negative people guilt you into doing the things that they want to do that you’re not entirely comfortable with. While it’s okay to step out of your comfort zone, you shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable in situations that you could otherwise avoid or even venture into on your own time. Don’t make yourself uneasy just to please someone else.

Living a positive life starts by examining your own surroundings and the people that you are around on a day-to-day basis. Make sure that you live in a positive environment and that the people you engage with have positive mindsets. It’s good to have friends of differing opinions, but not to the point that you argue about your differences instead of listening and understanding. Do away with the negativity in your life and embrace the positive!

Let Go of the Past and Embrace Change

Leave the past in the past! You won’t progress in life if you’re dragging old habits around with you. If you keep trying the same thing over and over again, and you’re not getting the results that you want, maybe it’s time to try something new. T hink of it like diet and exercise. Some diets won't work for you, just like some exercises work better for other people than they will for you. It’s all about figuring out what works, rather than doing the same old thing and becoming disappointed every time you don’t get results. In order to move forward in your life, you need to learn to embrace change. Sometimes, you can get so caught up in sticking with the things that you know, that you wind up afraid of venturing out of your comfort zone. It’s easy to stay with what’s familiar, but you have to learn to let go of familiarity and let yourself embrace the new and the unknown. You need to allow yourself to be open to new ideas and new ways of thinking. You're stuck where you are righ...

Don't Allow Your Fears To Control Your Life

Everyone has something that they are afraid of—you, me, everyone! It’s not shameful to have these fears, but you shouldn’t allow them to take precedent over your life. Things only have power over you because you give them that power. If your fears are starting to hold you back from living the life that you want, then you need to rethink how you view those fears and learn to break past them in order to move on. Your limitations are only limitations because you allow them to be. You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, so don’t allow yourself to be brought down by your fears just because you’re worried that you won’t be able to overcome them. You can do anything that you put your mind to, and if that involves overcoming your fears, then you will be able to do just that! When you choose to avoid your fears and not face them, you open yourself up to even more fear, as well as limitations on your abilities. Facing your fears allows you to break free of the restrict...

Happy Friday! Y'all know what time it is! It's that time of the week where we list the things that we look forward to; it's Fire It Up Friday! There is so much in life to look forward to, so let's help each other out by naming the things that we're excited for. I'll start us off by saying that I'm excited to go to the beach tomorrow.
