Happy Star Wars Day, everyone! I hope the 4th treats you well today; it's a brand new day full of new and exciting opportunities! I don't know about y'all, but I'll be taking the opportunity to head down to Black Rifle Coffee this morning to enjoy a delicious cup of joe. There's something so refreshing and invigorating about that first sip of coffee in the morning, and that's just one of the little things that I'm grateful for each day.
There is so much in this life that we tend to take for granted, so remembering all of our little blessings every day—no matter how small—can have such a positive impact on your health and wellbeing that it would be foolish not to give thanks for them. Let every day, every sunrise, and every breath you take serve as a reminder that you have been given the most wonderful gift of all and that you should take each and every opportunity to enjoy your life to the fullest, to live every day at peace with yourself, and to enjoy your surroundings to the best of your ability.
There is far too much good in this life to spend your days being miserable and angry at the world. Life was given to you so that you could live it! Don't waste your time on things or people who are not doing you any good by being in your life. Surround yourself with friends who you can count on and who you can trust.
You are given a choice every single day—a choice between sulking in negativity or embracing all of life's positivity. Today, challenge yourself to find something good within your life; there is so much of it in your life that you could be overlooking or taking for granted that you might not even notice it until you stop and think about it.
We should all set aside time in our busy lives to look around and appreciate the tiny blessings that we have all been gifted. Even just a few minutes a day can go a long way in the journey of gratitude. Life is a gift, and the more time that you set aside to appreciate it and all of its little miracles, the happier your life will become. There are a plethora of good things out there, just waiting for you to find them! Enjoy the ride, and may the Force be with you.
